New York International Gift Fair Round Up!

For the earlier part of this week, some of our team attended the New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF) in hopes of discovering some fabulous new and unique finds to add to our product offering on RosenberryRooms.com! We braved the freezing rain and fast-paced streets of NY to bring our customers the best of the best! Not only did we find some amazing new products from some of our current designers but also some brand new lines we can’t wait for you to see! Some of the photos from our trip below are of products you can already find on our site and others are Spring releases we plan to have added as soon as they’re available.

NYIGF

Our first stop was the Sugarboo Designs booth. They have a few new additions to their line of vintage art prints as well as some whimsical pillow designs we all fell in love with!

Next up was the fun and funky Jonathan Adler collection! Tons of new products for the nursery and kids’ rooms from his Junior collection were on display. The bold colors and whimsical characters make them perfect for children’s rooms and the contemporary style ensures that parents love them too!

These cuddly friends are a customer favorite and seeing all the characters in person made us fall in love with this line even more! They are also introducing new bean bags and play blankets to their collection this Spring!

To finish off day one, we made a trip down to DwellStudio‘s flagship store in Soho. As you might expect, the store was exquisitely modern. The front of the store spotlighted their home collection with sleek lines and gold accents. Towards the back, you’ll find their children’s collection with contemporary cribs and gliders, colorful bedding and an adorable display of toys. Thank you to the staff at Dwell for letting us pop in!

Meet Mary Beth of Rosenberry Rooms!

What is your primary role at Rosenberry Rooms?

I am a Sales Representative for Rosenberry Rooms which means I help assist all of our wonderful customers that call in and place orders!

What do you love most about working here?

I love the beautiful home that our offices are located in and the close knit family-feel I get while I am here! I also love all of the children’s products we have. They are fun and full of color!

What is your decorating style?

My decorating style is modern preppy, if that is even a style? I love everything monogrammed but then I love fun patterns such as ikat and chevron. Bright colors and white always catch my eye.

What are your 3 favorite Rosenberry Rooms products and why?

Jonathan Adler Navy Hollywood Duvet Cover – I love this bedding because navy and white is my favorite color-way and I love the pattern Jonathan Adler has designed! This not only is for teens on the Rosenberry Rooms website but for adults as well, which gives it an added plus!

Shelly Glass Lamp in Bright Colors – This lamp is one of my favorites! It adds a pop of bright color to any room and is a statement piece. It reminds me of bright summer days, which I love!

Luxe Child Chair by Jennifer Delonge– I wish I was a child again so I could fit in this Chevron child chair! I would get it in the blue chevron color-way, the elephant green print or the Ikat turquoise!  This is absolutely adorable for a little girl’s bedroom as an accent piece!

Favorite Food – Recently I was introduced to roasted beets with raspberry vinaigrette (so delicious!) but my all time favorite would have to be any Italian food!

Favorite Movie – Walk the Line – I love both Johnny Cash and Reese Witherspoon

Favorite Song to jam out to – Anything by Eric Church or The Avett Brothers (both are from NC!!)

Favorite Weekend Activity  – Hanging out with my friends or going on mini weekend vacations, now that it’s getting warmer I hope to spend as much time as possible at the beach or lake!

High Point Market Round Up – Part 1!

High Point Market Week has officially ended and we are spent! Hundreds of showrooms, lots of walking, and too much free food later, we are glad to be back but excited about all the new trends and great pieces for 2012! We visited with some of our vendors like DwellStudio, Surya, Lea, Creations Baby, saw some of their amazing new pieces and recruited some exciting new lines for RosenberryRooms.com! I wanted to share with you some of our favorite new pieces, some of these are already available on the site, some we will be getting soon, and some were just too cool/strange not to share!

The Chevron trend still seems to be going strong. Which is fine by me because I love all things Chevron!

DwellStudio has some new rug designs in Chevron for Spring 2012 as well!

Also new from DwellStudio is this amazing collection of colorful and graphic pillows. Animal print, ikat and geometric prints were another popular trend. Not just on pillows but on bedding, rugs and even lighting!

Fun and funky lighting was spotted all over market. The Jonathan Adler showroom was full of white ceramic lamps in the shape of giraffes, seahorses, elephants and more! You can find most of these already available here.

These are great pieces for a modern nursery or even a stand out piece in a guest room or living room. How fun are those Dachshund bookends!?

We also saw table lamps from Ro Sham Beaux with the base made out of crayons. How cool is that for a kid’s room or playroom! We are hoping to get these added to the site soon as well.

I was thrilled to get to see lighting from Stray Dog Designs in person! We have their line available on our site but let me tell you, the pictures don’t do them justice. These lamps are so whimsical and fun and are such great accents in a child’s room or even a teen room. What’s not to love?

Ok, I guess I should get to the furniture since after all, that was the main theme of the show! I was just so impressed by all the decor! Although, we did see some really gorgeous, high quality furniture pieces that I want to share. We saw some amazing bunk beds for both boys and girls which we’ll be adding to the site soon. I love the stairs on this boy’s bunk bed, such a safe and stylish option. That cherry finish is beautiful in person!

Also from this line, is a beautiful girl’s bunk bed with a twin over full option. This line is available now on RosenberryRooms.com and we will be adding these new pieces as soon as their available. You can see the full collection here! Loving that Erika Fuschia Duvet Cover from Pine Cone Hill too!

We also visited the Creations Baby Furniture showroom and got to see one of my favorite collection in person. The Venezia Crib is quickly becoming one of our best sellers and it’s not hard to see why! Isn’t is stunning?

For those of you with a more cottage, beach style design aesthetic, our vendor Seabrook Classics was also in attendance, displaying some of their beautiful coastal furnishings.

Ok so I just have to share this new line we saw called PolART! Their furniture designs reminded me of something you’d see in Alice in Wonderland! Whimsical shapes, curvy lines, and bright, bold colors, I couldn’t pass up taking some pics!

Yes, that is a clock and those chairs are outdoor chairs! Could you find a place for those pieces in your home? What about these?…

So that’s the round up from day 1 of our trip! What do you think? Stay tuned for Part 2 of our fun (and exhausting) trip to High Point Furniture Market and be on the lookout for some of these new pieces on RosenberryRooms.com very soon!

Jonathan Adler at Rosenberry Rooms!

The fun and funky styles of Jonathan Adler are now available at Rosenberry Rooms! From his first Chanel-inspired, quilted line of pottery in 1989, to furniture and interior design in 2002, to fun modern prints today, he has impressed the design world with his distinct sense of geometric style. Jonathan Adler is known for bold prints, bright splashes of color and unique, eye-catching decor – perfect for decorating your child’s room! His gorgeous duvet cover designs are perfect for a chic teen’s room or for a bold design in a guest room. I love that the sheet sets include a coordinating design embroidered along the edges for a complete look.

Adler’s collection of “nifty gifties” include chevron iPad covers, stylish phone cases, moroccan laptop sleeves and more, to add some color and fun to your everyday electronics. I actually have one of his iPhone cases myself and absolutely love it! They are extremely sturdy, well-made and help keep mom’s phone out of harm’s way. All the accessories come in an assortment of bold and funky prints that make a stylish statement. You can even find a printed tool set just for Moms! (Hey Dads – these would make a great gift for Mother’s Day! 😉 )

Jonathan Adler has also come out with a whimsical collection of ceramic decor pieces. From Dachshund bookends to a ceramic giraffe lamp, these pieces add a fun and modern touch to your child’s room.

For those of you that love modern and bold pieces, Jonathan Adler’s designs are perfect for you, your accessories and your home.
