It also includes Paula Deen’s new Gals and Guys collection of traditional furniture inspired by her own Savannah home! It turns out Paula Deen is more than just an expert in the kitchen; she has an eye for design and a passion for creating smart youth furniture.

Design elements such as graceful arching shapes, beading, turned posts and bun feet ensure the Gals collection has lasting appeal for girls from toddler to teen.

Paula was clearly thinking about her grandsons, who she describes as: “All boy” when creating her Guys Collection. It’s upscale with a sense of Southern sophistication, yet sturdy enough to handle the realities of a boy’s life.

Paula Deen herself was even there to show us around and talk about the process for creating her line. She loved most the “smart” details of the furniture such as hidden compartments and built-in lighting. These are the things that make her line innovative and multifunctional but also fun…y’all. 😉
