Rosenberry Rooms featured in Chesapeake Home + Living!

In the July 2011 issue of Chesapeake Home + Living magazine, there is an excellent feature on decorating kids’ rooms! The article, titled “Today’s Kids’ Rooms – Mixing it Up”, offers advice from design pros like Sherri Blum of Jack and Jill Interiors and Katherine Crosby of Jenkins Baer, on how to make children’s rooms both stylish and practical. They mention that one of the biggest trends in kids’ rooms these days is mixing and matching patterns and furnishings to create vibrant and stimulating environments for children. This is a great concept that we are all too familiar with at 😉

What’s even more exciting about this article is that they feature a modern girl’s room by yours truly, Rosenberry Rooms! The room features art by Oopsy Daisy artist Gale Kaseguma including the Butterfly Tree Canvas Reproduction and lighting from Stray Dog Designs and their Tulip Tree Lamp. It also highlights the Cherry Blossom Dresser by Muu, a Fleur de Lis Mirror in white, and a decorative tray by Macbeth! Check out the picture below!

Rosenberry Rooms’ owner, Susie Fougerousse, designed these rooms using some of her favorite products and aesthetics for Modern room design. She is also quoted in the article stating that “there are no rules or limitations when designing a child’s room. The sky’s the limit and the possibilities are endless” (love that!). She also adds that “mixing the old and the new is essential, as is balancing the modern elements with earthy ones” and suggests “pairing modern furniture and linens with a plush shag rug, whimsical lighting, and playful artwork.”
