Each piece is individually benchmade in the U.S.A. from select hardwoods. Newport Cottages takes pride in using quality craftsmanship and traditional woodworking techniques such as mortise and tenon joinery and rail and stile panels. The unique finishes are hand rubbed to achieve a slightly aged and weathered look. Individually applied to each piece, these finishes can be customized in color and style, to provide an endless array of options.
Custom finishes and colors are available upon request. Stained finishes may allow irregular grain patterns and discoloration in the wood to be visible. Stained finishes are recommended on tops, backs and knobs. Color lots may vary slightly from batch to batch.
