Country Bed by Newport Cottages

The Country Bed from Newport Cottages features a classic, timeless design that incorporates hand-carved posts and bead board paneling on the headboard and bed end. The side rails of this bed feature a sleek, smooth design. This bed is built to last and is available in twin, full, queen, King and California King sizes. An optional twin trundle is available for use with twin and full sizes. Trundle features a smooth face and notched handles so that it's easy to pull from beneath the bed.

Each piece is individually benchmade in the U.S.A. from select hardwoods. Newport Cottages takes pride in using quality craftsmanship and traditional woodworking techniques such as mortise and tenon joinery and rail and stile panels. The unique finishes are hand rubbed to achieve a slightly aged and weathered look. Individually applied to each piece, these finishes can be customized in color and style, to provide an endless array of options.

Custom finishes and colors are available upon request. Stained finishes may allow irregular grain patterns and discoloration in the wood to be visible. Stained finishes are recommended on tops, backs and knobs. Color lots may vary slightly from batch to batch. Please note that wood stain finishes come non-distressed and do not have the option for distressing. The finishes that are classified as wood stains include: coffee, chocolate and caramel.
