The youngest of four children, M. Hoback was raised in a small town outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Growing up, Hoback says she loved to watch her eldest brother's artistic endeavors, and soon began to paint alongside him, spending countless hours creating from her imagination. As an adult, Hoback earned a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art from The Atlanta College of Art. Following college, she worked as a graphic designer for large corporations. When it came time to start a family, she left the corporate world to focus on being a mother. Having her three girls as inspiration, Hoback began to create richly textured and embellished paintings for children through her company, Fits and Giggles. "I draw upon the things my girls love most: playing dress up and sparkly stuff!" she says of her line.
