Please note that the designer recommends using the smaller shade size with the Column Lamp Base or Spindle Lamp Base. The larger shades are made to accommodate the Spindle Floor Lamp Base. The Spindle Lamp Base can accommodate a small or large shade. Any Doodlefish Kids lamp shade will fit on any Doodlefish lamp base, however proportions may not be optimal if the recommended size and base combinations are not followed.
